# Bot kit: Business Coach

**Name:** Business Coach

**One-line description:** Your AO apps in one chat: how often AI assistants recommend your business, fixes to paste, Google review requests and replies (only sent or posted with your OK), plus links into the rest of your AO apps.

## Setup (about 5 minutes)

1. Sign in at the AO assistant connector (`https://mcp.aoapps.io`; local demo: `http://localhost:3014`) with your AO account. The Connect page shows which tools your apps unlock (Recomendr or Merciloop unlock the Towntide tools).
2. Create a bot named **Business Coach** and paste `instructions.md` into its instructions.
3. Add a custom **MCP connector** with the URL `https://mcp.aoapps.io/mcp` (local demo: `http://localhost:3014/mcp`):
   - If your assistant supports sign-in (OAuth), leave the key empty and sign in with your AO account when asked.
   - Otherwise create a **connection key** on the Connect page and add the header `Authorization: Bearer <key>`.
4. Add the routine **Monday check-in**: Every Monday at 8:00 AM (owner's time zone), with the prompt from `bot.json` → `routines[0].prompt`.
5. Try: "What AO apps do I have?", "How am I doing this week?", "What should I fix next?".

Anything that sends, posts or records money is always previewed first and waits for your yes. The routine never sends, posts or confirms anything. Revoke the key (or disconnect everything) on the Connect page at any time.

> Demo mode: the upstream servers use shared demo keys, so the tools show fictional data (Prairie Peak Plumbing, Sam Okafor).
